Rorotura is a town located in the north of the North Island in the Bay of Plenty region. The city has approximately 56,000 inhabitants in 2020, (Google) – of which a third of the population is Maori. The city is well known for its geometric activity with several volcanoes and geysers, and is one of the most popular tourist destinations on the North Island with exciting natural and cultural experiences. We had a short stop there on the way from Levin to Auckland, but this is a place we would love to return to.
