Riga is the capital of the Republic of Latvia located on the Baltic Sea. Latvia is one of the three Baltic states, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, which, among other things, border Russia. We stayed in a hotel in the Old Town of Riga, which is an interesting part of the town with its medieval buildings with many churches as well as the 368.5 meter high TV tower which is the tallest structure in the city and the third tallest tower in Europe. It was nice to walk around the old town among the old buildings and churches where you are transported back to another time period. Riga is a city we would like to return to.

Vi bodde på et hotell i gamlebyen, som er en interessant del av Riga med sine bygninger fra middelalderen med mange kirker samt det 368, 5 meter høye TV-tårnet som den høyeste konstruksjonen i byen og det tredje høyeste tårnet i Europa. Det var koselig å vandre rundt i gamlebyen blant de gamle byggverkene og kirkene hvor en blir satt tilbake til en annen tidsperiode. Riga er en by vi gjerne reiser tilbake til.
