A coastal city with a population of 119,532 in 2019, Pattaya is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Thailand. In 2019, 39.9 million tourists visited Pattaya. Pattaya Beach is located along Beach Road and runs all the way from north to south in Pattaya. There are many attractions there. We visited «The Sanctuary of Truth» and «Pattaya Floating Market» – which we briefly describe here, as well as refer to photos we took at these places. We recommend a visit to Pattaya.

The Sanctuary of Truth

The Sanctuary of Truth is a stunning masterpiece built using traditional woodworking techniques. The temple has four wings that feature Thai, Chinese, Khmer and Indian religious iconography. It was very impressive to be able to walk around and view this very special building. Likewise, it was very interesting to wander around the workshop, and see how the people who worked there carried out the wonderful work of processing and carvings. The Sanctuary of Truth er et fantastisk mesterverk som er bygget ved å bruke tradisjonelle trebearbeidingsteknikker. Likedan var det meget interessant å vandre rundt i verkstedet, og se hvordan de som jobbet der utførte det fantastiske arbeidet med bearbeiding og utskjæringer. Pattaya Floating Market

Established in 2008, the Pattaya Floating Market is one of the largest in Thailand. Here you can see the history of the beautiful, ancient Thai society by the river. It includes culture and local produce from four major regions of Thailand with stalls selling traditional handicrafts, fish, meat as well as fresh fruit and vegetables and more.
