Patong is a resort town on Phuket. It has an approx. 3 kilometer long sandy beach with cafes and hotels, and is the most important tourist spot on Phuket, known for its nightlife and shopping. We have been on holiday at Patong Beach once and visited the place and the neighboring town of Karon Beach in connection with a cruise. There are beautiful beaches and a lovely climate there which is popular with European tourists.

Patong er en ferieby på Phuket. Den har en ca. 3 kilometer lang sandstrand med kafeer og hoteller, og er det viktigste turiststedet på Phuket som er kjent for sitt natteliv og shopping. Vi har vært på ferie på Patong Beach en gang samt besøkt stedet og nabobyen Karon Beach i forbindelse med cruise.
