It was interesting to sail through this beautiful landscape, which stretches from the southeastern part of Alaska through western British Columbia in Canada to the northwestern part of the state of Washington. The ships use this route to avoid the bad weather in the open sea, as well as to visit the isolated places along the route. The Inside Passage is therefore widely used by ship traffic in the area.

Det var interessant å seile gjennom dette flotte landskapet, som strekker seg fra sørøstlige delen av Alaska gjennom vestlige Britiske Colombia i Canada til nordvestlige delen av staten Washington. Skipene bruker denne ruten for å unngå det dårlige været i åpen sjø, samt at de kan besøke de isolerte stedene langs ruten. Inside Passage er derfor mye benyttet av skipstrafikken i området.
